A little about me

Makeup that feels like you, only more luminous.

I'm Amanda — a New Brunswick makeup artist with a soft spot for slow mornings, hot coffee, and watching someone catch their own reflection on a wedding day. I built this practice on a single principle: you should look like yourself, on the most photographed day of your life.

Alongside on-site bridal work, I'm a licensed instructor and educator with the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick — which means I'm not just doing the work, I'm helping shape the next generation of artists doing it well.

Every face gets a custom palette. Every product I reach for is professional-grade and skin-loving. And every appointment is on-site, so your only job is to sit still and feel beautiful.

On weddings: the smallest wedding booking is the bride plus three bridal party members — four applications in total. On special events: a flat $125 per application, plus the $50 travel fee within Fredericton. Example: 1 application = $125 + $50 travel = $175 total. The $100 booking fee credits toward this, so $75 is due in cash day-of. On corporate & editorial: $150 per application, and each application includes one hour of Amanda's time. Additional time beyond the included hours is billed at $125/hour, plus the $50 travel fee within Fredericton. Example 1: 3 applications running 3 hours total = (3 × $150) + $50 travel = $500 (the 3 hours fit inside the 3 hours included). Example 2: 3 applications running 5 hours total = (3 × $150) + (2 overrun hours × $125) + $50 travel = $750. On the booking fee: the $100 fee is non-refundable. For weddings and corporate bookings it's additional to the day-of total (it holds your date and turns away other requests). For special events and lessons it credits toward your total, so day-of you pay the remainder in cash.

* Discounted pricing available for grad and prom bookings — ask when you reach out.

If travel exceeds two hours each way, additional charges may apply; you will be quoted up front before signing.

Makeup lessons are a promo rate, discounted from $225. Unlike weddings, the $100 booking fee credits toward the $150 lesson total — so day-of, you pay the remaining $50 in cash.

Common Questions

The fine print, in plain language.

What does the $100 booking fee cover?+
It secures your date and is non-refundable. For weddings and corporate bookings it's additional to your day-of total — held separately, paid in cash on the day. For special events and makeup lessons it acts as a deposit that credits toward your total, so day-of you pay only the remaining balance in cash.
How does travel work outside Fredericton?+
$50 flat fee within Fredericton city limits. Outside city limits, that base fee plus $0.80 per kilometre (to and from). If travel exceeds two hours each way, additional charges may apply — I'll quote that up front before you sign.
What is your cancellation policy?+
The $100 booking fee is non-refundable regardless of when notice is given. Beyond that: 90+ days prior — no further fee. 60–89 days — 25% of services booked. 30–59 days — 50%. Under 14 days — 100%. Full schedule lives in the contract.
Can I add bridal party members later?+
Additions are welcome up until two weeks before the wedding so I can schedule realistically. No additions on the day-of, since the timeline is built around the confirmed party.
What about late arrivals?+
A $10 fee per 10 minutes of delay is added to the day-of total. It rarely comes up — but the contract calls it out so we're all on the same page.
Is your kit hypoallergenic?+
I use professional, skin-loving products only. Brushes and tools are sanitised between every client. If you have known allergies or reactive skin, mention it in the notes below — we can do a patch test before the day-of.
Do you offer hair?+
Makeup only — but I work with a handful of incredible local hair stylists and can make an introduction.
